Members of Children Matter East
As a regional forum, Children Matter East has been set up to have strong cross-sector and cross-agency appeal. It operates through a mixture of open meetings (with contributions from all members) and some closed business sessions (for its voting members).
The forum reflects the diversity of VCS organisations working with children, young people and their families. This includes frontline providers in their own right and, critically, the local specialist networks/support organisations, whose memberships are drawn from frontline organisations both large and small delivering services and activities which contribute to improved outcomes.
Its influence and activities are not intended to be restricted solely to VCS organisations and - as a regional forum - Children Matter East is keen to collaborate with a range of partners in support of its aims. This includes those regional agencies that already provide support to the sector.
