Welcome to the website of Children Matter East - the East of England's forum for voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations and their statutory partners that work with children, young people and families.
As a regional forum, Children Matter East enables its partner organisations to keep in touch with current developments as well as engage with policy makers and commissioners of services. It operates through regular meetings, conferences and newsletters for the purposes of networking, information exchange and development support. Through these activities, it also influences wider discussions and decision-making. The forum was set up to complement existing local best practice and is closely aligned with COVER, its lead agency and whole-sector umbrella organisation.
